Jamshedpur: The newly appointed state convener of Rashtriya Swabhiman Andolan DD Tripathy was accorded a warm welcome at Tatanagar railway station on Wednesday.
The wards of former Tata Motors employees welcomed him. Tripathy was recently appointed as the state convener of the outfit during a meeting held in New Delhi under the guidance of renowned thinker and leader KN Govindacharya.
Tripathy said he would be taking up various local issues including the demand for employment raised by the wards of former Tata Motors employees.
He said an agitation would be started to demand extension of South Bihar Express�s operation from Tata till Buxar and a new train service from Tata to Buxar.
