Tribal martyr Veer Budhu Bhagat descendants meet Jharkhand CM on school 

Ranchi, August 1: Delegation of Shaheed Veer Budhu Bhagat Memorial Committee Silagai, Chanho under Mandar block of  Ranchi met Chief Minister Hemant Soren on Monday. 

The delegation urged the Chief Minister that the Eklavya Model School, which is already proposed in the village of Shaheed Veer Budhu Bhagat, should be constructed there. They also requested that legal action should be taken against those who disrupt and vandalize the construction work of the school. 

Newly elected Congress MLA Shilpi Neha Tirkey and former MLA Bandhu Tirkey were present on the occasion. The delegation that met the Chief Minister,  Shivpujan Bhagat and Ramdani Bhagat, descendants of martyr Veer Budhu Bhagat, 

Significantly, Eklavya Model school had been sanctioned by the Union government but a section of the tribal leaders had been opposing the construction of the school for the last few years.
