TRF supports 150 Cataract Patients

Jamshedpur, March 25: Mrs Pradnya Kharkar, President, TRF Ladies Association presented a cheque of Rs 1.5 lakhs to Mrs Nishi Srivastava, Senior Manager, Tata Motors at its Parivar Kalyan Sangh (PKS) centre.

TRF Ladies Association, the corporate social responsibility arm of the company collaborated, once again this year, with PKS of Tata Motors, to support 150 financially needy cataract patients by helping them to get IOL (Inter Ocular) implant and restore their vision.

The TRF Ladies Association, under the guidance of the TRF management, co-ordinates several community development activities for the company.

Some of these include, running the �Akshar� literacy school for financially and socially disadvantaged children, �Astitva� women empowerment centre for girls, a rain water harvesting project with the objective of supplying potable water to nearby �bastee� residents, supporting the employability training of youth.
