Fraser Labour Union (TRFLU), jointly gave away awards to the employees of the Company for Long Service, Suggestion Box and Workskills Competition organized by Confederation of Indian Industries annually.
The ceremony was attended by the office bearers of the TRFLU and senior executives of the Company. S Deoras, MD was given long service award for 40 years of service to the Tata Group by Mr Pandey.
He was among 32 other employees of the Company who were given long service awards for 35, 25 and 20 years of service in the Tata Group.
The occasion was also a platform to recognize employees for their excellent performance in the regional and national workskills competition.
Twenty-eight awards along with letters of appreciations were also conferred to employees for their suggestions on improvements in products and processes.
TRF has witnessed a significant increase in the participation of employees in the suggestion box scheme in the current year.
The Company has aimed to collect over thousand suggestions in this financial year. Most noteworthy achievement in the suggestion box scheme of the Company is that in the current financial year, already three suggestions have
qualified for the maximum award.
These suggestions have yielded significant benefits to the company, for which the employees who have made the suggestions were awarded Rs 20,000.00.
Mr Pandey in his speech, motivated the employees to rise up to the challenge thrown due to slow down in the economy and make improvement is performance which would help the Company to surpass the Competition.
Mr Deoras urged learn from the past and work hard towards enhancing the performance of the Company. He said that success lies in our ability to work sincerely towards the goals that we have set.
