TRF Ladies Association collects 180 units of blood

Jamshedpur, Oct. 3: As many as 180 employees and associates of TRF Limited voluntarily donated blood at ‘Navjivan’, the second blood donation camp organized by TRF Ladies Association on the TRF premises. ‘Navjivan’ was conducted with the help of Blood Bank of Jamshedpur and Voluntary Blood Donors Association of Jamshedpur.

P Vijaya Radhika, Chairperson, TRFLA welcomed the employees of the Company for lauded their commitment to serve fellow by participating in the camp. She gave a brief update on the numerous community welfare programmes ofthe Ladies Association and appealed to the employees to support the Association by voluntarily participating in its literacy and education, women empowerment programmes.

RK Rahi, General Secretary of Tata Robins Fraser Labour Union while appreciating the efforts of the Association in serving the community appealed to all employees to not to hesitate in donating blood as it was in short supply most of the time.

PS Reddy, MD, said blood donation is the noblest activity that any person could participate in. He hoped that the Company would explore opportunities for increasing the number of units being collected through Navjivan camp and conduct camps at the Company’s project sites.
