TRF employees excel in CII Work-skills Competition

Jamshedpur, March 5: Kamaleshwar Sah and R P Singh have won first and second position, respectively, in the 26th Eastern Regional Work-skills Competition organised by CII under ‘turner’ trade.

The competition was held at ATI, Dasnagar, Howrah from Feb 18-21, 2014. The work skills competition is organized annually by CII and Directorate General of Employment & Training, Government of India. Workmen from several other industries in the Eastern Region participated in the competition, which was contested keenly.

The work-skills competition has become a happy outing for TRF employees to showcase their skills before industry peers and signal that the Company provides excellent opportunities to workers to hone their skills.

Last year, Mr Anjani Kumar had participated in the regional and national level skills competition wherein he had excelled and won laurels for the Company. Both Kamleshwar Sah and RP Singh have done extremely well in CII’s work-skills competitions in the past. Kamleshwar Sah has won the top position twice and RP Singh nine times, in CII’s regional and national level competitions.
