Jamshedpur, Sept. 27 : Jamshedpur Durga Puja Kendriya Samiti’s central zone ‘A’ meeting was held at Amal Sangh in Sidhgora on Monday.

The meeting headed by Tarachand Mohanty saw participation of 42 Puja Committee representatives under the Golmuri and Sidhgora Police station area. Representatives of Puja Committees informed about the issues to Kendriya Samiti. The main issues that came forward where of slag, road repairing, garbage near Puja pandals and drinking water.

The representatives urged the Kendriya Samiti members to help supply drinking water through tankers. The representatives of several Durga puja committees asked about the vehicle facilities during the procession and gave their suggestions on how to organise the puja in orderly manner.

At the meeting representatives of Tuila Dungri Durga puja samiti informed about issues related traffic management and urged the Kendriya samiti members to help construct a parking inside RD Tata school so that traffic can remain normal.

Amal Sangh raised the issue of trash as it has resulted in delay in construction of Puja pandal and the ground is filled with water due to the rain. The administration and Kendriya Samiti have been informed about the slag near Raksha kali mandir in Tinplate.

All the puja committee members asked for tight security arrangements and called for Police personal presence at every pandal so that no untoward incident is reported.

At the meeting Ashok Kumar Sinha, Parmatma Mishra along with Golmuri and Sidhgora Police station incharge, traffic inspector, Ram Babu Singh, Ambika Banerjee, Sujit Choudhary, Omeo Ojha, Ashutosh singh, PS Mathur, Y P Singh, Uttam Kumar and others were present.
