Jamshedpur, Nov. 27: Train services will remain disrupted for more than 10 hours on Saturday owing to the construction work of a third line project between Gamharia and Sini railway stations under the Chakradharpur railway division in the adjoining Seraikela-Kharsawan district.
Railway sources informed that train services in both the Up and Dn lines between Gamharia and Sini would be blocked from 9.15 a.m. till the evening. Normal train services are expected to be restored late in the evening.
Garden Reach, the headquarters of South Eastern Railway (SER), notified on Friday that the railway block is necessary for construction as well as required installation work for the third line project between Gamharia and Sini. Several trains would either be�short-terminated or cancelled for the mandatory work.��
The Howrah-Barbil Janshatabdi Express will be short-terminated at Tatanagar. The train will remain cancelled between Tatanagar and Barbil. The return train will leave from Tatanagar as usual in the evening for Howrah.
The Howrah-Titlagarh Ispat Superfast Express would also be short-terminated�at Tatanagar. Therefore, the journey of the train between Tatanagar and Titlagarh would remain cancelled. The train will leave for Howrah in the afternoon as per its schedule departure time. The Tata-Gua Passenger and Tata-Barbil Passenger�will remain cancelled.
The Howrah-Pune Duronto Express will run on a diverted route via Gamharia and Kandra. The Tata-Rourkela-Alleppy Express�will also run on a diverted route via Gamharia and Kandra.
The Howrah-CSTM Geetanjali Express will be rescheduled by 1 hour 10 minutes at Howrah. The train will leave Howrah at 1.50 pm. The Tata-Bilaspur Passenger and South Bihar Express would also run on a rescheduled time.
