Train services hit due to Shalimar yard remodelling,10 trains cancelled

Jamshedpur, Nov 6: Several long-distance train services passing through the Chakradharpur railway division will remain affected in November due to yard remodelling work at Shalimar station.

The South Eastern Railway has announced that the maintenance and remodelling work will be carried out from November 8 to 24, leading to cancellation and partial operation of multiple express trains.

According to the railway administration, a total of 10 express trains have been fully cancelled, while 6 others will operate on a curtailed route, either terminating or originating from Santragachi station instead of Shalimar.

18030 Shalimar–Mumbai LTT (Kurla) Express – from Nov 13 to 21

22830 Shalimar–Bhuj Superfast Express – on Nov 8 and 15

22829 Bhuj–Shalimar Superfast Express – on Nov 11 and 18

15022 Gorakhpur–Shalimar Weekly Express – on Nov 10 and 17

15021 Shalimar–Gorakhpur Weekly Express – on Nov 11 and 18

18029 Mumbai LTT–Shalimar (Kurla) Express – from Nov 11 to 19

12151 Mumbai LTT–Shalimar Samarsata Express – on Nov 12, 13, and 19

12152 Shalimar–Mumbai LTT Samarsata Express – on Nov 14, 15, and 21

20971 Udaipur City–Shalimar Superfast Express – on Nov 15

20972 Shalimar–Udaipur City Superfast Express – on Nov 16

Trains to Operate Partially

18049 Shalimar–Badampahar Weekly Express (Nov 8, 15, 22) – will run from Santragachi to Badampahar only

18050 Badampahar–Shalimar Weekly Express (Nov 9, 16, 23) – will terminate at Santragachi

12101 Mumbai–Shalimar Jnaneswari Express (Nov 18) – will terminate at Santragachi

12102 Shalimar–Mumbai Jnaneswari Express (Nov 20) – will start from Santragachi

12905 Porbandar–Shalimar Superfast Express (Nov 19) – will terminate at Santragachi

12906 Shalimar–Porbandar Superfast Express (Nov 21) – will start from Santragachi

The South Eastern Railway has advised passengers to check the latest train schedule and cancellation updates before planning their journeys to avoid inconvenience.
