Jadugoda: A trailer truck carrying iron ore from Noamundi to Kharagpur, crashed against a roadside tree on the Jadugoda-Ruam highway at 4 am today. The driver, 18 year old Butru Rohi Das was killed on the spot. It is believed that the driver, a resident of Ghutia village in Salbani, Galudih, must have dozed off when the crash happened.
The impact of the crash was such that the cabin was crushed. The body of the driver had to be extracted from the crushed cabin with the help of gas cutters. The police had the deceased�s post mortem done before handing it over to Butru Rohi Das� family.
