He highlighted the importance of responsible driving on well-constructed roads and called upon the Road Safety Committee and the District Administration to work together to address the issue of overspeeding. Chaudhary further urged the traffic police, who are currently preoccupied with helmet checks and fine collection, to strictly enforce traffic rules. He emphasized that only those who have experienced the loss of a family member can truly comprehend the pain and sorrow associated with such incidents. Witnesses present at the scene demanded that a case of hit and run be registered in connection with the accident. It is noteworthy that Shyam Chandra Das, a cheerful and affable individual, was well-known in Rajnagar for his frequent utterance of “Radhe-Radhe.” He would greet everyone he met with these words, leaving a lasting impression on those who encountered him.
