Traffic was thrown out of gear in Mango when a road repair work began on Saturday evening. With the left flank of the main road linking Marine Drive to Mango cordoned off for repairs, the vehicular flow from and towards Mango became congested.
A long tailback of vehicles floundered through the road jam for hours before the situation turned normal. This led to jam in the adjoining roads and arteries.
The traffic on Dimna Road was also clogged for sometime.
