Jamshedpur, Nov 22: In an attempt to ensure smooth progress of construction on the Mango Flyover’s Azad Basti down-ramp and elevated approach road, the district administration has announced major traffic diversions.
The notification, issued by the Traffic DSP and approved by the Deputy Commissioner and SSP, mandates route restrictions from November 25 to December 21.
One of the most significant changes is the complete ban on the movement of heavy commercial vehicles between Mango Chowk and Pardih Chowk during this period to prevent any obstruction to the ongoing work.

To ease school-hour congestion:
School buses and vans will be allowed to travel from Pardih Road (Bada Hanuman Mandir) toward Mango Chowk.
All vehicles moving from Mango Chowk toward Bada Hanuman Mandir will be strictly prohibited.
Reverse Restriction: 8 AM to 6 AM (Next Day)
All vehicles from Mango Chowk to Bada Hanuman Mandir may ply normally.
Vehicles coming toward Mango Chowk from Bada Hanuman Mandir will not be permitted.

Public Advisory
Motorists are urged to follow the revised traffic plan, avoid restricted routes, and cooperate with the administration to facilitate timely completion of the flyover project.

Appeal to administration to remove encroachments on footpaths meant for pedestrian. Permanently heavy vehicles parking on road side. No strategy to allot a space for parking.
