Jamshedpur, Aug 13: A three-day Training of Trainers (TOT) workshop commenced today at the Gurukul Hall of Tata Tinplate, jointly organised by Tata Tinplate Workers Union, Tata Steel Limited (Tinplate Division), HRM (Training and Development), and the National Workers Education and Development Board, Ministry of Labour and Employment, Government of India.

The workshop will cover a wide range of topics, including safety, productivity, labour laws, Total Productive Maintenance (TPM), protection of workers’ rights, team building for value addition, effective leadership, workers’ role in company management, and strategies to reduce production costs.
The inaugural ceremony was graced by Chief Guest and Head HRBP, Tinplate Division, Tata Steel Limited, Deepak Varghese. Union President Rakeshwar Pandey, General Secretary Manoj Kumar Singh, Deputy President Parvinder Singh Sohal, Senior Vice President Sai Babu Raju, and HR representatives including Gurpreet Singh and Durgesh Kumar Kesharwani were also present.

Several union officials attended, including Vakil Khan, Jagjit Singh, Sanjay Kumar, Amrit Kumar Jha, Niranjan Mahapatra, Vinay Kumar Sahu, Sangram Kishore Das, Surya Bhushan Sharma, Munna Khan, Kalam Navi Khan, Rakesh Kumar Dilbagi, Sujit Kumar Das, Sukesh Kumar Mishra, Gajraj Singh, Kundan Kumar Singh, Naval Kishore Singh, Navjot Singh Sohal, and others.
The event aims to enhance skills, knowledge, and leadership among participants, fostering a culture of safety, efficiency, and teamwork within the organisation.
