Kabul, July 13 (IANS) UN Assistance Mission in Afghanistan (UNAMA) head, Nicholas Haysom met the country’s Chief Executive Officer Abdullah Abdullah to discuss about the present security situation of the South Asian nation.

Both met in Kabul on Sunday, Xinhua news agency reported on Monday.

“The two sides exchanged views on general security situation. Abdullah also expressed his view about his latest trips to northern and southern provinces and provided Haysom the information about security situation there,” an official statement said.
