Ranchi, October 23: A crucial coordination meeting was held at the Jharkhand State Cricket Association (JSCA) International Stadium Complex, Dhurwa, on Wednesday to review preparations for the upcoming One-Day International (ODI) between India and South Africa, scheduled for November 30, 2025.
The high-level meeting focused on law and order, security arrangements, and traffic management to ensure smooth conduct of the much-anticipated match, which is expected to attract thousands of spectators from across the region.
The meeting was attended by JSCA President Ajay Nath Shahdeo, Ranchi Deputy Commissioner Manjunath Bhajantri, Senior Superintendent of Police Rakesh Ranjan, JSCA Vice President Sanjay Pandey, Secretary Saurabh Tiwary, Joint Secretary Shahbaz Nadeem, Treasurer Amitava Ghosh, Sadar SDO Utkarsh Kumar, Traffic SP Rakesh Singh, ADM (Law & Order) Rajeshwar Nath Alok, Hatia DSP Pramod Kumar Mishra, and JSCA life members Rajiv Kumar Singh, Binay Bihari Karn, and Kishore Chandra, among other senior officials.
Detailed discussions were held on crowd management, parking facilities, security deployment, and movement of spectators. Officials emphasized inter-departmental coordination to ensure the safety and convenience of fans during the international fixture.
JSCA President Ajay Nath Shahdeo expressed gratitude to the district administration for its ongoing support. “Coordinated efforts between JSCA and the administration will be the key to the event’s success,” he said.
JSCA Secretary Saurabh Tiwary provided updates on stadium preparations, logistics, and hospitality arrangements, assuring that all facilities will meet international standards. Deputy Commissioner Manjunath Bhajantri reiterated the administration’s commitment to extend full cooperation, stating that every effort will be made to make the India–South Africa ODI “a grand, well-organized, and proud moment for Ranchi.”
