Jamshedpur, Aug 22: One of the largest hospitals in Jharkhand, Tata Main Hospital ( TMH) has started 24×7 call centre to provide information related to patients admitted at the hospital. Anyone can dial 0657-6641306 to get information about COVID patient�s health status. The initiative has been taken to ensure that the family of the patient is updated about the health status, informed Dr Rajan Choudhry, general manager, medical services, Tata Steel.
The family member of the COVID patient will have to call on the given number and they well informed about the status after 10 minutes.
The hospital so far has seen about 1993 corona positive cases and reported 125 deaths while the recovery of COVID-19 patients at TMH has improved from 66.1 per cent to 72.4 per cent. Till August 15 the recovery rate was 66.1 and this has improved in the past one week to 72.4 per cent.
The prime health hub of Jamshedpur city manages a total 1027 beds for COVID-19 management. It is continuing with its emergency services besides catering to COVID patients. TMH has set up a special COVID-19 Maternity and Labour Room Complex for suspect/confirmed pregnant women.
