Jamshedpur, May 15: The extended OPD facility of Tata Main Hospital (TMH) – TMH Prime – completed one month of its operation today.
Since its launch on April 15, 2017, its facilities have been increasingly utilised in providing patients with the best of treatment, as part of its promise: TMH Vishwas, said the hospital spokesperson.
TMH Prime has been unveiled as a unique experience whereby TMH aims to provide all its existing expertise and facilities under one umbrella.
A total of 120 doctors across different medical disciplines are part of TMH Prime which provides Out-patient Department (OPD) services, state-of-the-art Operation Theatres and NABL Certified Diagnostic services.
Apart from the OPD of TMH, the facilities of TMH Prime are also available at the TMH Clinics situated at Baridih, Sidhgora, Sakchi, Sonari, Kadma and South Park, Bistupur.
During this one-month period, nearly 5000 out patients visited TMH Prime for consultation, over 200 surgeries and procedures were performed and nearly 500 patients utilised the diagnostic facilities.
The availability of a wide range of specialists till late evening, seamless consultation among various specialists, facilities for online registration, minimal wait time, availability of large parking space and overall ambience and experience has come in for a lot of appreciation from various patients.
Besides, creation of electronic medical records of each patient visiting TMH Prime, gives the patient and the doctor a unique opportunity to have it available for future reference and see the trends in their diagnostic investigations.
This allows the doctors to plan the treatment better by seeing the response to previous therapies and consultations.
