Jamshedpur: Tata Main Hospital (TMH) has placed a fresh order of one lakh Covishield with Serum Institute, Pune. Dr Rajan Choudhry, advisor, and former general manager, medical services, Tata Steel said that they have received a supply of 30,000 vaccines but now a fresh order has been placed. He said that the fresh stocks of vaccines are being used for the employees and family members in Jamshedpur and other five Raw Materials locations. He also informed that Tata Main Hospital management has taken some initiative in fetching the Russian-made vaccines. Talks are on for the Sputnik vaccines and the process of procurement of the vaccine is on. He noted that even after vaccination, one must continue to follow COVID-19 appropriate behavior including wearing of mask, hand sanitisation, social distancing and avoid crowded places. The hospital has administered 61,000 vaccines so far.
