Tippler stabs eatery owner at Adityapur

Jamshedpur, April 7: A drunken man stabbed one Vijay Kumar Yadav, an eatery owner, in Adityapur on Wednesday. The victim was admitted to MGM Hospital where his condition was out of danger.

Sources said the incident took place late evening when the victim was about to shut his shop. The accused came to his eatery and reportedly tried to drink alcohol. When Yadav refused to give permission, the accused stabbed him and escaped from the scene.

The victim, a resident of S Type, Adityapur, said many drunkards often come to his eatery, as it is close to a liquor shop, and create ruckus. He has demanded protection from drunkards and anti-social elements.
