Tinplate Company announces annual bonus

Employees to get maximum Rs 46,654, minimum Rs 28,292

Jamshedpur: Tinplate Company of India Limited (TCIL) announced the annual bonus for its employees in the presence of Deputy Labour Commissioner Rakesh Prasad. As per the bonus agreement, the employees will get a maximum of Rs 46,654 and a minimum of Rs 28,292 in bonus, sources said.

Sources said the company has given three per cent in ex-gratia. The employees will get their bonus amount in their bank accounts in a couple of days. They completed the goal set by the company as a result of which the ex-gratia has been given to them, sources said.

In the year 2015-16, the company had registered a production of 3.12 lakh metric ton while last year the production was 3.22 lakh metric ton. As per the bonus agreement, the employees would get the ex gratia benefit upon achieving the annual business plan (ABP) target given to them.

The bonus settlement agreement was signed by the MD of TCIL Tarun Daga, ED RN Murty, CFO Sanjay Kumar Srivastava, DGM (Works) S Venkatraman, Chief (HRM and SS), Harjeet Singh, Chief (Medical Services), Atul Srivastava, Manager (ER), Gurpreet Singh, Manager (Administration), Lokesh Verma, union president Rakeshwar Pandey, deputy president Raja Singh, vice president Manoj Kumar Singh, Mahendra Singh, general secretary DK Singh, joint general secretary Parvinder Singh, assistant secretary Sudama Tiwary, YV Dora, treasurer Satnam Singh and assistant treasurer A Ramesh Rao.
