Jamshedpur, Nov. 28: A bonus agreement between Tinplate Company Management and Tinplate Workers Union was signed on Saturday.
Annual bonus of 15 percent will be provided to the employees. Maximum bonus payout will be Rs. 41180 and minimum will be Rs 13875.
According to the agreement, old grade employees will get maximum bonus amount of Rs 41180 and minimum Rs 24215 while NS grade employees will get maximum Rs 24262 and minimum Rs 13875.
During durga puja the agreement was not finalized and company management had sent 10 percent as advance bonus to employee�s bank account. After which union officials protested against the move with Harjeet Singh, chief corporate Service.
According to bonus formula, 11.25 percent was to be given out but union demanded 18 percent bonus.
During the signing of the agreement, from the management side Tarun Daga, managing director, MK Jha, chief F & A, Dr. Atul Srivastav, chief medical services, Harjeet Singh, chief corporate services and from the union side Rakeshwar Pandey, president, Raja Singh, Dy. President, Parbinder Singh, senior vice-president, Kashinath, vicepresident, SD Tripathy, general secretary, DK Singh, Sudama Tiwary, Manoj Singh and Mahendra Singh assistant secretary and Treasurer KK Singh signed.
