Jamshedpur: Jharkhand Assembly Committee on Internal Resources and Central Aid convened a meeting with the district administration officials at Circuit House on Monday. The chairman of the committee-cum-MLA Pradip Yadav presided over the meeting along with other members including, Rajesh Ranjan and the MLA of Ghatsila Ramdas Soren.
Addressing the meeting, the committee chairman said the pending projects should be enlisted and implemented without any further delay. He said the allotted funds should be made use of within the deadline and in an efficient manner so that new projects may be conceived and internal resources could be assessed for their implementation. He said appropriate Central aid may be sought for projects only when the funds are allotted properly and the projects are implemented in time.
Yadav said a committee will be formed for conducting random inspection of liquor shops in the state. The number of liquor consumers has gone up over the years while the number of liquor shops has decreased. This gives rise to suspicion about some scam. This is why a committee has been set up to conduct random inspection of liquor shops. MLA Ramdas Soren and SDO of Dhalbhum will be members of the committee along with excise officials, he said.
Yadav issued an order to the DC to dismantle the illegally running liquor factory in Hurlung within 15 days.
