Ichagarh: Timber smuggling is on in Ichagarh and Tiruldih police station areas these days.
Many trees have been felled by members of timber mafia in the last few days, sources said. But unfortunately no action has been taken by the district administration sources as yet.
Sources said the timber smugglers usually keep the logs prepared for loading on tractors and transport them in the night.
The forest ranger CN Tripathi said he had no information regarding any such smuggling. He said action will be taken against culprits.
