Three passenger trains remained cancelled due to overbridge work at Tatanagar

Jamshedpur: Following traffic-cum-power block for track renovation work and dismantling of the abandoned old overbridge at the Tatanagar railway station, three passenger trains remained cancelled while several trains had to be short-terminated

Both the Up and Dn Tata-Chakradharpur Passenger, Tata-Chakulia Passenger and Tata-Barkakana Passenger were cancelled today.

The Barbil-Tata Passenger was short-terminted at Chaibasa while the Dhanbad-Tata Subarnarekha Express was short-terminated at Kandra railway station today. The train returned to Dhanbad from Kandra.

The Bilaspur-Tata Passenger was short-terminated at Gamharia railway station. The train returned to Bilaspur from Gamharia. The Hatia-Tata Passenger was also short-terminated at Gamharia railway station. The train returned to Hatia from Gamharia instead of Tatanagar today.

The railway poer block which began at 6.30 pm continued till 3 pm . Several passengers of Tatanagar got down from the train at Gamharia. Later, they travelled to Jamshedpur by road via Adityapur.

Two more blocks will be carried on next Thursday which will again affect movement of trains. The dismantling work is affecting movement of trains in three lines crossing through Tatanagar railway station.
