Seraikela: Three parks will come up in Seraikela-Kharsawan in the year ahead at a cost of Rs 9 crore. The detailed project report for the same has been sent to the state government for approval. This was informed here on Monday by the deputy commissioner of Seraikela-Kharsawan Chhavi Ranjan during the monthly press conference convened at the DC Office.
The DC further said that Swachhata Sankalp Abhiyan was launched in the district on 26th January last under the Swachh Bharat Mission. The campaign would continue till 28th February this year.
The DC further said paddy was being acquired at 30 paddy purchase centres across the district. So far, 22,356 quintals of paddy have been purchased from the farmers, he said.
Also present on the occasion, SP Chandan Sinha said district police had detected two loot cases of Adityapur police station area. He further said that police were helping people in a show of good gesture. A youth and a victim of sexual assault are being helped by the police, he said.
