Three nabbed, 42 bovines seized near Jamshedpur

Jamshedpur, Apr 11: Baharagora police acting on tip-off on Sunday nabbed three persons and seized a container truck with 42 bovines being taken from Chattisgarh via Odisha to Bengal.
Baharagora thana OC Kumar Sourabh and circle inspector Shashi Kumar along with a team intercepted a container truck in the wee hours of Sunday on NH-33  near Matihaniafter getting information that it was carrying cows for slaughter and nabbed three persons identified as S K Abid (28), Sheikh Sirajuddin (19) and Khalik Sah (30), all three are residents of Bhadrak in Odisha and a case against Prevention of Cow Slaughter Act was lodged against them in Baharagora thana. 
The bovines were rescued and handed over to Dhyan Foundation Gaushala in Chakulia. Incidentally, last month took police team of Barsole, Baharagora and Shyamsunderpur thana rescued in separate cases 200 cows and handed it to Dhyan Foundation Gaushala in Chakulia.
