Three-month computer course begins with 20 kids

Jamshedpur, Aug 19: Rotary Club of Jamshedpur West on Monday started 3-month computer course at Harijan Basti in Sidhgora. The three-month programme was inaugurated by President of Rotary Club of Jamshedpur West Shweta Chand. The first batch includes 20 underprivileged children. The club members Kamlendu Shukla inaugurated the computer class. He spoke on the computer course (basic computer education) available for the children.

He encouraged the children to be regular during the course and explained how the computer training can also help them get a govt. certification. Soft copy of the relevant computer book was also installed in the computer along with computer lab sessions.

It was an interactive session and children were very happy to have the computers installed in their basti. 

Club members including Amit, Rajiv Rungta, Sarita, Atul (prospective member), Alpana, Rakesh, Shraddha and Nibha were present on the occasion

Club Secretary Nibha Mishra extended the vote of thanks.
