Three mobile phones stolen during exam in Jamshedpur Women’s College

Jamshedpur: The mobile phones of three students were reportedly stolen from Jamshedpur Women’s College, Bistupur, on Wednesday. Irked over the thefts, the students staged protest on the college premises and demanded arrest of the culprits.

The three students had kept their phones outside the examination hall in the second sitting of commerce exam. When they came out of the hall, they found their phones missing from their bags kept in the gallery.

Later, Bistupur police reached the college and went through CCTV camera footage. Two girls were seen stealing the mobile phones. Their faces were however not visible clearly, sources said.

Police said they were trying to identify the culprits.
