Three friends killed in road mishap near Jamshedpur

Seraikela, May 17: Three close friends were killed in a tragic road accident near Kudi petrol station on the Seraikela-Chaibasa main road under Seraikela police station area late Monday night.

The deceased, all shopkeepers of Seraikela Bus Stand Chowk, were identified as Brijesh Rana (30), Pinku Karji (40) and Dulal Singh Modak (27).

Police said the victims had gone to a roadside eatery for dinner on a motorcycle. On their return around 1 am, their bike rammed into a roadside tree. The three friends sustained critical injuries in the incident. Brijesh died at the scene while Pinku and Dulal died during treatment at MGM Hospital, police said.

Brijesh was a fruit seller and is survived by two kids and his wife. Pinku was a betel shop owner and is survived by a daughter and wife. Dulal was a golgappa seller and was unmarried, cops said.
