Jamshedpur, Dec 14: Marwari Yuva Manch Steel City�s women�s wing, Surabhi, will organize a three day artificial foot and caliper implant camp at Sakchi Agrasen Bhawan between December 22 and 24.
Addressing a press meet today at Agrasen Bhawan, Surabhi president Parul Chetani stated that a team of Rashtriya Marwari Foundation would be in the city to take measurements of the beneficiaries� feet and make the limbs according to the sizes. Parul informed that thus far 150 applications have been registered for artificial feet implantation and the last date for filing such application was Monday, December 16. She also said that calipers would also be fitted at this free camp after which the beneficiaries would be able to perform normal movement.
The people who have already been enrolled will come from Jamtara, Ramgarh, Hazaribag, Chandil, Chakradharpur, Ghatshila and other places.
The organizing team for this free three day artificial feet implant camp includes convener Ruchi Bansal, Babita Ringasia, Nilam Debuka, secretary Nisha Singhal, Manisha Sanghi, Saroj Bansal, Rekha, Sarita, Anita, Pinky, Suman, Sushila, Chanda, Kavita and Jyoti.
