Ranchi: The three-day convention of AJSU Party is starting from today. This convention will continue till October 1. Experts from different fields from India and abroad will reach here to participate in this conference. In this, the challenges and issues of Jharkhand will be considered. Today, party central president Sudesh Mahato will address the inaugural session. The party’s report will be presented on the first day of the convention.
The programme is starting from September 29 and Marathon Manthan will be held on September 30. There will be a political proposal and public meeting on October 1. One lakh delegates from 32,000 villages are expected to attend the convention. The programme will be held in Vinod Bihari Mahato Auditorium, the founder of the Jharkhand movement.
Sudesh said that the general convention of AJSU will be a resolution meeting for Jharkhand Navnirman. Therefore, it has been decided to make the General Conference a convention of the entire state. Its objective is to honor the agitators who contributed to the creation of the state and also to prepare a blue print for a better Jharkhand by collecting the views of experts coming from different fields.
The central president will address the inaugural session on the first day of the convention. Jharkhand agitators will be honored in this session. The party’s report will be presented on the same day. Besides, a proposal to amend the constitution of the party will also be presented. Along with this, experts from different fields will present their views in the discussion on important topics like Jharkhand movement, challenges of the state, social justice, political participation.
On September 30, the challenges and burning issues of Jharkhand will be discussed. Representatives of various political parties, academicians and experts will participate in this discussion. It is the understanding of the party that their ideas can be collected and placed on various tables, so that the outline of the new construction of Jharkhand can be decided. Apart from professors from prestigious educational institutions like various IITs, IIMs, National Law University, people from business class will also participate in the programme.
Along with presenting political proposals on October 1, the last day of the convention, fateful programs will be decided outside the party. A public meeting will be organised on the same day, in which all 32,000 villages of the state will be represented. At least one lakh people will participate in this public meeting.
