Jamshedpur, May 6: A 407 model truck carrying pipes was robbed near HSM Gate under Burmamines police station area on Thursday evening, police said.
Cops said the incident took place around 6.15 pm when the truck was passing by HSM Gate. Just then three criminals intercepted the vehicle and started beating the driver. After forcing the driver to get down, the culprits took the truck in their possession and sped away, cops said.
Police registered an FIR against Shubham, Mahesh and one unidentified person on the complaint of the truck owner Pramod Mahato of Hazaribagh.
Police saw a CCTV camera footage of the incident after getting information from the truck driver. They said raids were on to nab the robbers.
