Jamshedpur : The police today found three bodies including that of two women at separate places including the steel city.
The bodies of women were that of murder victims and found at Sonua and Chandil in West Singhbhum and Seraikela-Kharsawan district respectively, the body that was found at Bistupur was later identified as that of Sheikh Sultan (35), a resident of Azadnagar.
Police have recovered all the three bodies and sent them to MGM Medical College mortuary for post-mortem.
At Bistupur, the body of the 35-year-old man was found lying dead along the Bistupur Main Road near Diagonal Road early. The police recovered the body suspecting it to be either a case of murder or road mishap.
Officer-in-charge, Bistupur police station, Ranjit Kumar said that the police are investigating the incident. The deceased was a contract worker and was missing from his house since last evening, and had not returned home, leading the family members to search for him.
In another incident, decomposed body of a 30-year-old woman was found lying at a bush at Kanderbera village along the Subarnarekha river under Chandil police station area.
In yet another incident of murder, body of a 25-year-old woman was lying murdered in a jungle at Sonua block in West Singhbhum district this morning. The woman’s neck was slit and her hands and legs were tied.
