Three arrested with illicit liquor in Jamshedpur

Jamshedpur: Police arrested three persons for allegedly carrying illicit liquor in a car under Parsudih police station area on Monday.

According to SP City Prabhat Kumar, the accused persons were caught after a chase. Cops caught hold of two of the accused persons during a late night vehicle checking drive in Parsudih. They confiscated the car in which the accused carried 54 boxes of illicit liquor brought from Haryana. The accused persons were going to supply the liquor boxes to the third accused, Rajesh Prasad, of Parsudih. Soon, Prasad was arrested on the basis of confession of the other two accused. Cops are looking for the gang kingpin Munna of Burmamines who allegedly supplies liquor into the city in various luxury cars.
