Thieves adopt new tactic, stab blades to snatch money in Dumka

Dumka: The city of Dumka is witnessing a surge in criminal activities, with vehicle theft gangs already on the prowl. However, a new and alarming trend has emerged as thieves resort to innovative tactics to pilfer money, instilling fear among the residents. The latest modus operandi involves stabbing a blade into the bags of unsuspecting bank customers.

On December 12, two incidents of this nature unfolded, revealing the audacious approach adopted by these criminals. In both cases, the perpetrators targeted bank customers, leaving with a substantial sum of money. One victim lost 80 thousand rupees, while another was relieved of 50 thousand rupees.

The victims promptly reported the incidents to the authorities, leading to the registration of a case against the unidentified thieves at the city police station. The local police have initiated a thorough investigation into these cases, aiming to apprehend the culprits and curb this concerning trend.
