Chaibasa, Nov 12: To encourage voter participation and make the polling process more engaging, the District Election Officer cum Deputy Commissioner has instructed the construction of model booths across various constituencies in Jharkhand. These booths, designed under the SVEEP (Systematic Voters’ Education and Electoral Participation) activity, are being set up with different themes to attract voters on the polling day, 13th November.
For the 52-Chaibasa Assembly Constituency, booths will be set up with diverse themes to cater to various sections of the society. Shraddhanand Girls Middle School, Room No. 02 (PS No- 127), will feature a PWD (Persons with Disabilities) theme, while the Primary School Chhota Neemdih (PS No- 141) will focus on the Women theme. The DEPE Primary School Supersai (PS No- 130) will have a Youth theme, and the Upgraded Middle School Teksai (PS No- 20) will display the Tribal theme.
In the 53-Majhgaon Assembly Constituency, the theme of Women’s empowerment will dominate several booths. The Stateized Middle School Kokcho (PS No- 01), Primary School Loahatu (PS No- 15), and Upgraded High School Tantnagar (PS No- 18) will all feature this theme, highlighting the importance of women’s participation in the electoral process.
Moving to the 54-Jagannathpur Assembly Constituency, booths will focus on local themes such as the Forest and Tribal themes. The Upgraded High School Chhotanagara (PS No- 27) will have the Forest theme, while the Primary School Tantoposi (PS No- 114), Primary Middle School Togahetu (PS No- 139), and Government Rasal Plus Two High School Jagannathpur (PS No- 149) will highlight the Tribal theme.
In the 55-Manoharpur Assembly Constituency, several booths will be themed around the tribal culture and forest environment. The Residential School Orenga (PS No- 27) and the IISCO Middle School Chidiya (PS No- 260) will focus on the Tribal theme, while the Upgraded Middle School Jhingamarcha (PS No- 98) will emphasize the Forest theme.
Lastly, in the 56-Chakradharpur Assembly Constituency, the booths will feature a mix of themes, including the Forest, Tribal, and Rail themes. The Upgraded Middle School Timda (PS No- 11) will focus on the Forest theme, while the Government Scheduled Tribal Residential High School Kundrugutu (PS No- 20) will showcase the PVTG (Particularly Vulnerable Tribal Group) theme. Additionally, the Formerly Operated Railway School Chakradharpur (PS No- 226) will highlight the Rail theme, celebrating the region’s railway heritage.
