Jamshedpur, November 18. Thieves looted a shop named Shiv Shakti Jewelers near Shitala Temple under Sakchi police station.
Shop operator Satya Dutta came to know about this when he came to open the shop on Saturday morning and found that the goods were scattered in the shop and the jewelery was missing. The money kept in the bag has also been stolen.
After receiving the information, the police reached the spot and started investigation. Police are examining the CCTV footage installed nearby.
Satya Dutta told that he lives in Mango Dimna Road, Kalikanagar. He had gone to his village Bankura with his family on the day of Kali Puja. He returned from the village on Friday evening. When we went to open the shop this morning, we found that the goods were scattered inside the shop. The thieves entered inside by breaking the ventilator installed outside the shop. Satya told that jewelery worth around Rs 8-10 lakh along with cash was stolen from his shop. At present the police is investigating the matter.
