Jamshedpur: Thana Diwas (police station day) was organized at Baharagora police station on Tuesday. The block Pramukh Shastri Hembram presided over the programme. Ghatsila SDO Arvind Kumar Lal, BDO Lalit Prasad Singh, police inspector Basant Hessa and the officer in-charge of Baharagora PS Sanjay Kumar Singh were present on the occasion along with local panchayat representatives and members of various political parties. The SDO said stringent action would be taken against those found spreading rumours of any kind on the social media. He said the citizens should inform the district administration about crimes and other illegal activities going on in their area.
