Jamshedpur, Sept 11: A team of employees from Tata Football Academy & Sports department of Tata Steel visited SC/ST Residential High school of Sabar Nagar, Goalkata. The strength of the school is nearly 250 students.
The aim was to spend one whole day with these underprivileged youth, share some and try and help them through Volunteerism.
Rajiv Seth, Sr. Manager Sports, Satnam Singh Sr. Manager, Basant Singh, Manager Urban Services and all others employees of Tata Football Academy & Sports interacted with the children and shared few light moments.
A well-organized football match was conducted by the volunteers for the youth to break the ice, participate and feel free. Bags were distributed amongst the youth for healthy engagement.
The 8 hours spent inside the school ground with the youth was indeed filled with excitement and interest amongst the volunteers.
Volunteers also ensured their continuous presence in the school to help these children.
The activity was organized to create huge impact for marginalized community through this Volunteering Week.
