Jamshedpur, July 17: Tata Steel Sports department organised football tournament for the Security (SIS) persons deputed at JRD Tata Sports Complex and Tata Football Academy at Archery Ground, JRD Tata Sports Complex on Sunday. Three teams were formed for the tournament. In the first match JRD SIS beat Gopal Maidan SIS by 3 goals to 0. In the second game TFA SIS beat Gopal Maidan SIS by 3 goals to 1.
The final match was played between TFA SIS and JRD SIS. In a one sided match TFA SIS defeated JRD SIS by 4 goals to 1.
Highest Goal Scorer award went to Santosh Kumar Yadav of TFA SIS who scored 4 goals. Rajat Ranjan Singh of Gopal Maidan SIS was adjudged the Best Goal Keeper.
The event was conducted by Anand Singh, Supervisor (SIS) of JRD Sports Complex.
Avinash Kumar, Sr. Manager Sports started the initiative for SIS Security person with a motive to keep security persons fit and happy. Every month one event will be conducted for the security persons. In June Tennis Ball Cricket match was held.
