Telugu New Year observed at Baridih Balaji Mandir

Jamshedpur, March 29: On the auspicious occasion of Telugu New Year titled “Hevalambi”, Panchanga Shravan and Pujas Archanas were performed at Sri Balaji Mandir located at Morakati, Baridih.

While Sri Venkateshwara Suprabhatam was chanted early in the morning today, followed by Sri Vishnu Sahasra Tulasi Archana was performed and prashad consisting of the mixture of new mango, gur, neem flowers, new tamarind was distributed to devotees present at the temple.

In the evening, Panchanga Shravanam was delivered by the Chief Priest of the temple, Sri Emani Srinivasa Shastri. This was followed by Ashtottara archana for Lord Balaji was performed by the other two priests, Sri Emani Prashad Shastri and Sri Emani Sai Kumar Shastri.

Later on Sahasra Pushpa Archana with 300 kgs of flowers especially brought in from Vishakhapatnam, Andhra Pradesh was performed for Goddess Sri Maha Lakshmi and Sri Goda Mata.

The Pujas and Archana concluded this evening with Maha Arati. Hundreds of devotees who witnessed the pujas this evening at the Temple were offered Prashad by the Managing Committee members of the Temple.
