Jamshedpur, March 30 : City-based Technomec Solutions Pvt Ltd ( TSPL), a UKB group company, was recognised by ISWP (The Indian Iron and Steel company) in its Vendor Meet held on March 29. TSPL is involved in bearings business for over 50 years and associated with SKF for over 30 years.
ISWP recognised TSPL for their contribution in reducing downtime at their Jamshedpur plant, by using CBM practices.
Sunil Bagrodia, director, Technomec Solutions Pvt Ltd said downtime has a huge cost for all Industry. SKF and Technomec, using CBM – Condition Based Monitoring, can predict expected fault in equipment, can support customers to avoid any sudden break down. CBM helps customer to plan well in advance, plan and thus reduce downtime. He went on to add that decrease in downtime, means more production in factory. This not only gives direct benefit to customer but also add some value in National GDP.
