Jamshedpur, July 16: Loyola School hosted Frank Anthony Memorial All-India Inter School Debate Competition.
Topic for the debate was-�Today Friends have replaced family�. In all 18 participants from 9 different schools participated were each team consisted of 2 members.
The competition was opened with the welcome speech of the Principal Father Sebastian. Moderator Shamita Ahuja hosted the competition.
Best Speaker for the contest was Lipi Bag of Rajendra Vidyalaya while first runner-up was Ekta Kar of KSMS.
Rajendra Vidyalaya bagged the award for best team while Narbheram Hansraj School was the runner-up team.
Judges for the event were D dsouza, Father Peter Francis and Dr. Sujata Mitra. Girl students of the school also presented dance.
Soma Dasgupta of Loyola Debate Club extended the vote of thanks.
The members of the School Managing�Committee�graced the occasion and students were present on the occasion in huge numbers.
It may be noted that the competition is organized every year in honour of Mr. Frank Anthony, a pioneer in the field of education.
It is among the most prestigious inter-school competition organized by the ICSE board.
