Team Jamshedpur bags top recognition at National Convention

Jamshedpur, Feb 20: Tata Motors Jamshedpur Plant�s 3 Self Directed Teams (SDTs) which had bagged Gold award at Chapter Convention on Quality Circle (CCQC) at Bokaro, qualified to participate in National Convention on Quality Circles (NCQC) at Kolkata held from 19th to 23rd Dec. In this competition a total of 1140 teams, representing 351 organizations, from all over the country participated.

Out of the 3 teams from Jamshedpur, 2 team, QC Vijayant � Vehicle Factory & the other QC Ekta � Engine Factory, bagged the top notch recognition i.e. �Par Excellence� while the third one QC Kirte � Frame Factory, was put in the next category of recognition i.e. �Excellence�. At NCQC teams were judged on the basis of case study presentation, knowledge test and finally a PowerPoint presentation in presence of the panel of judges.
