Team Bhalotia emerge victors in Singhbhum Chamber of Commerce and Industry election

Jamshedpur, Sept 24: Team Bhalotia emerged victorious a second time in the biennial election of Singhbhum Chamber of Commerce and Industry (SCCI) held on Tuesday. It defeated Team Vision by a considerable margin.

SCCI members casted their votes through ballot paper at the Chamber Bhawan.

They also utilized e-voting facility. A total of 1737 members were eligible to cast their votes. 

Team Bhalotia was in a strong position winning the post of trustee along with five other posts of office bearers ahead of the election.

President Ashok Bhalotia, secretary Public relations Anil Modi, trustee Nirmal Kabra, secretary trade and commerce Satyanarayan Agarwal alias Munna, secretary tax and finance Rajiv Agarwal and treasurer Dilip Golcha were elected unopposed. 

One post of President, one of General Secretary, four post of vice president, four of secretary and one post of treasurer makes up the team of office bearers.

Nitesh Dhoot was elected Vice-President (Industry).

He defeated Shrawan Kumar Debuka. Vijay Anand Moonka was elected Vice-President (Trade and Commerce).

He defeated Suresh Kumar Sharma alias Lipu. Dinesh Choudhary defeated Pavan Kumar Agawal to be elected Vice -President (Tax and Finance).

Manav Kedia defeated Mukesh Mittal vying for the post of Vice-President (Public Relation and Welfare). 

Mahesh Sonthalia defeated Vinod Sharma to be elected Secretary (Industry). Bharat Vasani defeated Shrawan Kumar Kabra to be elected honorary general secretary.

There were altogether 55 members in fray for the post of 30 working committee members. 

The polling began at Chamber Bhavan, Bistupur from 10.30 am to 4 pm today.

CDSL representative were present at the venue with their laptops for smooth e-voting.�
