Jamshedpur: A state level meeting of the Model School Teachers Association members was held at Jubilee Park on Sunday.
Teachers of as many as 89 schools of the state participated in the meeting. It was unanimously decided to hand over a six point memorandum to the state education minister and secretary on 25th November.
The outfit members said the delay in payment of salaries to the teachers of East Singhbhum and West Singhbhum was a sorry situation.
They said the government should also provide cumulative leave and earned leave benefits to the teachers apart from giving them regular pay.
