Jamshedpur: Government teachers posted in remote schools of Mosabani met the deputy commissioner of East Singhbhum Dr Amitabh Kaushal on Thursday and demanded their transfer to urban areas.
They handed over a memorandum to the DC and demanded an opportunity to work in the urban areas like other teachers.
They said they had been working in remote villages for the last 13 years. They said they should be transferred on the basis of compunction.
