Teachers’ Day celebrated at Vinay IAS Academy

Jamshedpur: Teachers’ Day was celebrated at Vinay IAS Academy on Tuesday. The students and teachers paid florabl tributes to Dr S Radhakrishnan, the former President of India.

Addressing the students, the director of the institute, Vinay Singh said the guru-shishya (teacher-student) tradition was still alive and relevant in the country.

Satyam, the IAS aspirant who achieved 218 rank in the civil services exams, said the students should always be disciplined and cultured. He said sincerity and hard work lead a student to become successful in life.

A vote of thanks was proposed by Sintu Kumar, a student of PO batch. Among others present on the occasion included teacher Sonali, Bhavna, Anamika, Kusum Tiwary, Aarti Kumar and Randhir Kumar, Shivesh and Abhijit.
