Jamshedpur, Nov 9: Due to a rolling block over the Adra Division for maintenance and infrastructure work, several train services under South Eastern Railway will face cancellations, short terminations and rescheduling between November 10 and 16, 2025.
According to a press release, five MEMU passenger trains have been fully cancelled. Train numbers 68053/68054 (Adra–Bokaro Steel City–Asansol) scheduled for November 16 will remain cancelled. Similarly, 68077/68078 (Adra–Vasco-da-Gama–Adra) scheduled for November 10, 68075 (Adra–Bhojudih) scheduled for November 10, 12, 13 and 15 and 68076 (Bhojudih–Adra) scheduled for November 11, 13, 14 and 16 will not operate. Train number 68046/68045 (Asansol–Adra–Asansol) of November 11 will also remain cancelled.
In addition, five trains will be short-terminated or short-originated during the block period. The 18019/18020 (Jhargram–Dhanbad–Jhargram) Express of November 10 and 13 will be short-terminated and originated from Bokaro Steel City, with services between Bokaro Steel City and Dhanbad cancelled. Similarly, the 12885/12886 (Shalimar–Bhojudih–Shalimar) Express of November 10 will be short-terminated and originated from Adra, cancelling service between Adra and Bhojudih. MEMU trains 68056/68060 (Tatanagar–Asansol–Bokaro Steel City) of November 11 and 63594/63593 (Asansol–Purulia–Asansol) of November 16 will also be short-terminated and originated from Adra. Train 13503/13504 (Barddhaman–Hatia–Barddhaman) MEMU Express of November 10 and 13 will be short-terminated and originated from Gomoh, with service between Gomoh and Hatia cancelled.
Two express trains have also been rescheduled. Train 18184 (Buxar–Tatanagar) Express of November 16 will depart Buxar 60 minutes late, while train 18035 (Kharagpur–Hatya) Express of November 16 will leave Kharagpur 180 minutes behind schedule.
Railway officials have urged passengers to verify the current status of their trains before planning their journey during this period.
